VDO-Webshop deliveries and delivery times:

Delivery from the Continental-VDO European warehouse:

VDO-Webshop contains over 2,000 Continental and Veratron VDO articles for automotive, industrial and marine use. Continental-VDO automotive sensors, instruments and parts are no consumer products, but products for professional use. In comparison with consumer products, VDO items have a much lower circulation speed, resulting in longer delivery times than you are used to from consumer products.

As official Continental-VDO distributor, we use the stock of automotive and industrial products at the European Continental-VDO warehouse in Schwalbach - Germany, just like the other EU distributors.

In about 95% of the orders we are able to deliver these in the countries of the European union within 7 working days. In about 5% of the orders the articles are not in stock in the German EU warehouse and considerably longer delivery times can occur.

This occurs with great regularity in VDO-Marine products. VDO-Marine products have not come from Germany since the beginning of 2018, but from Switzerland.

This is caused by the management buy-out early 2018 of VDO-Marine. VDO-Marine will continue under the name Veratron and will continue to use the brand name VDO for another 3 years.

We do our best to keep you informed of deviating delivery times and to select an alternative VDO product in consultation with you that can be delivered quickly.

Partial deliveries of orders consisting of several articles are only possible in exceptional cases due to the extra transport costs.

If you are a consumer living in the European union, and the delivery time is longer than 30 days, you have the right to cancel your order free of charge according to the consumer delivery conditions.
